 The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has announced plans to install two high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes on US 75 extending from I-635 north to Exchange Parkway in Allen. There will be one southbound and one northbound lane.

 In a feature story at CNNMoney.com, Plano was chosen #11 of the 100 best places to live in the United States. Plano was the highest ranked city in the D/FW Metroplex. And of all Texas cities, only Sugar Land at #3 was ranked higher.
